Chelsea kicked off the game with a bang, showing off their skills with quick passes and smart movements. Nicolas Jackson scored two amazing goals in just 18 minutes. Cole Palmer almost scored too, but just missed.
But West Ham soon found their footing and made things harder for Chelsea. Robert Sánchez had to make some crucial saves. Mohammed Kudus's goal was correctly called offside, and Wesley Fofana got away with a questionable pull on Crysencio Summerville.
Chelsea started the second half on a high note, with Cole Palmer scoring his third goal just a few minutes in. This eased some of the tension for fans.
West Ham tried to fight back, but Chelsea's defense was solid. Sánchez made more saves when needed.
Chelsea had chances to score more, but Félix and Nkunku's close attempts were not enough. They were happy with their three-goal lead.
